About Me

Hi, my name is Amir Sasani (Samson). I am a detailed-oriented QA Engineer, with over 7 years of experience in testing Games and Applications across Android, iOS, Windows, MacOS, PWA, and Frontend applications (web apps). Expertise in test planning, Test case design, UAT, Software development life cycle (SDLC), and defect analysis.

Hands on experience with manual testing, Proficient in F2P game mechanics and Unity-based projects, API testing (Postman), while experienced in automated testing tools such as K6 & Playwright, and Strong understanding on Continuous Deployment (CI/CD pipelines), SQL, MySQL databases and Agile Methodologies. Coached and mentored a team of 4 QA engineers on QA practices and software testing processes. led 2 successful high-impact projects to 99.99% crash-free performance.

I am also a Machine Learning enthusiast, and a programmer-to-be. While I am a lifelong learner, I am also a curious adventurer - always poking the system to find its thresholds, with a passion for new technologies!

Approaches to Teamwork

Collaboration and open communication are at the heart of my teamwork philosophy. I strongly believe in the power of a diverse team working together, collaborating, facing challenges, communicating, and believing in team spirit, to come up with innovative solutions. By fostering an environment of trust, respect, and transparency, I strive to build strong relationships with team members and create a positive work culture.

My Hobbies and Interests

In my so-called “Free-time” I am occupied with many things. Doing workouts (Calisthenics or Weight Training), Playing guitar (You can see me playing the guitar in any given free time - on Vacation, after working hours, right before I go to sleep, right after I have lunch, or around a campfire 😄). I enjoy music a lot, and I believe what seasons this thing that we call Life, is music which swiftly floats our presence from one scene to another. (getting poetic back there 😄)

I also like reading, listening to podcasts, especially Neuroscience, making good coffee, writing, cooking, jogging, and watching Super-Hero movies and Anime Series. Boy… I have to confess, Anime is the other thing which surely satisfies me. I like Silence. You know, like mountains-like silence. Silence and Philosophy.

I can pretty much say I like everything and nothing; I may seem simple on the outside, but I am complicated on the inside, so to speak. Anyways, thanks for reading. This says pretty much everything about Me.
