Hi, I'm Amir Sasani (Samson). I'm a passionate QA Engineer and Machine Learning enthusiast with a strong background in testing mobile, web, and desktop applications.
My interests extend beyond QA into Frontend Development, Game Design, Content Creation, Localization, Video Editing, and Computer Science. I enjoy exploring how technology, design, and user experience intersect to create products that people genuinely enjoy using.
In my free time, I enjoy calisthenics, playing guitar, reading about neuroscience, making coffee, and watching anime. Music and philosophy are my constant companions.
Started in QA as a Localization Tester, then moved up to QA Tester. We licensed, localized, tested and published 30+ games from companies worldwide on Android app markets such as CafeBazar and Myket — across Action, MMO, RPG, Sports and more.
Later we built two hybrid cloud-based game-marketplace Android apps, BaziGushi and Porbazi — my first deep dive into Regression, UAT and quality verification (QV) on Android apps from A to Z.
My first real experience in a game studio — QA on two mobile titles: Tactics (real-time strategy) and Northern Farm (farming simulation). Balancing weapons, preventing leaderboard exploits and digging into retention data and Live Ops.
Joined Playpod — the first cloud gaming console in the Middle East — and was promoted to QA Lead after 1.5 years. Built QA for Arium from the ground up and coached four junior testers across both cloud-gaming platforms.
Quality was everyone's job — and I became its voice. I owned QA for the Mentorship Program, Reseller Journey, Fulfillment Process and Wallet Management, stepped up to lead QA while the lead was away, and wrote the documentation the next QA would thank me for.
